Brazilian singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer, Larissa de Macedo Machado, better known by her stage name Anitta, has released her new single “Faking Love” featuring Saweetie.

Due to the success of the song “Meiga e Abusada” released in 2012, Anitta signed a contract with Warner Music Brazil the following year.

Anitta rose to national fame in 2013 after releasing the single “Show das Poderosas”. Its music video has been viewed over 150 million times on YouTube. In July of the same year, she released her debut studio album which received a triple gold record certificate and platinum certification by ABPD.

In January 2020, she released the single “Jogação” with the band Psirico. The music video for the song was recorded live during “Ensaio da Anitta”, a show that took place at Espaço das Américas, in São Paulo. The following month, the singer released the song “Rave de Favela” in partnership with the Brazilian singer MC Lan and the American group Major Lazer.

Anitta also participated in the songs “Contando Lunares” by Spanish singer Don Patricio, “Joga Sua Potranca” by Brazilian DJ Gabriel do Borel and “Dança Assim” by Angolan musician Preto Show.

In August 2020, Anitta released her first single in Italy with Fred de Palma, “Paloma” which became one of the most shamaz’ed songs of the month in the country. She was also featured on WC No Beat’s album on a track called “Cena de Novela” alongside Djonga & PK and also featured on the trap song “Tá Com o Papato” of Papatinho with Dfideliz & BIN.

On September 18, 2020, Anitta started a new era in her international career, launching “Me Gusta”, in partnership with Cardi B and Myke Towers. The song reached 17th position on the iTunes chart in the United States.
