Welcome once more to our selection of the best songs of the week. We face the final stretch of November in the best possible way.. Let’s get to it!

Philip Gordon – Julia & Luis [Razor-N-Tape]

Another week Philip Gordon and elegance housera sneak into our Selection. On this occasion he pays tribute to his grandparents, Julia and Luis, who marked an unforgettable time in his life. Pianos, small details of wind instruments and a lot, a lot of magic with percussions so delicate that they will melt in your ears. All yours!

Wilkinson, Issey Cross – Used to This [Sleplees Music]
We do not shy away from those calm and relaxing atmospheres, although this time we immerse ourselves in the wonderful and delicate world of liquid drum n bass . We know very well that Wilkinson handles wonderfully on these registers, and the union with Issey Cross in the vocal field is worthy of note. A smooth cut, which has a beautiful melodic evolution.

Anderex – Silent Cartographer [Gearbox Digital]
This is a preview of “Time Machine” , the next EP by one of our favorite raw artists . Following the trend of “ACID TECH” , Anderex has reinserted 303 sequencers of techno acid in this topic. In addition, and how could it be otherwise, the kicks that sound are infernally sharp, with a very powerful attack . The final part of the track offers a rawphoric loaded with trance melodies , in the style of other DJs such as Sub Zero Project or Zatox. We love the way you put genres together !

Avi8 ft. Drean – Drowning [Gearbox Euphoria]

What a week for the Gearbox label! Between Anderex and Avi8, the rawstyle of this label has been crowned. If in the previous single we have enjoyed a high level of hardness, now is the turn to enjoy the best rawphoric. We adore tracks that include new metal vocals; that’s the main reason why “Drowning” seems like a work of art to us. On the other hand, we also highlight the final melodic part, which has given us goosebumps. How emotional!

DØBER & Almero – I Got Some [Protocol Recordings]

The Dutch DØBER and the French artist Almero come together again for a great collaboration entitled “I Got Some”. Nicky Romero’s new label, Protocol Recordings, is an explosive combination of the most powerful tech house. With a deep bass line and dirty synths, “I Got Some” becomes a nightclub gem. It is not the first time that these two guys surprise us with their talent. They have done it again!

100 Gecs – Mememe [Dog Show Records]

One of the most beloved duos in the alternative and hyperpop electronic scene are back. 100 gecs will present their second studio album in 2022 and they have anticipated it with this fun “mememe”. In this one, Dylan Brady and Laura Les are shown more vocally naked than in their previous works. In addition, here the encounter between ska and an unpredictable electronics that includes catchy melodies or 8-bit sounds a la Porter Robinson or Anamanaguchi is forced.

Concentrates & SWIM DUBS – Cat Piss [DPMO]

This week, with the release of the fourth compilation of the Funtcase label, they bring us from the most groundbreaking tearout to the dirtiest riddim. The new discoveries honor one of the most beastly sub-genres and with “Cat Piss” we have it very clear. Right from the beginning, we are prepared with a sub that points out ways and a sound that characterizes the riddim, wanting to break more than just the neck. Easy and simple.

Pixel Terror & Spag Heddy – Carbonara [Monstercat]

This week we found a totally unexpected collab between Spag Heddy and Pixel Terror. The word “ Carbonara ” will no longer only refer to a spaghetti recipe, but also to a fun dubstep track, loaded with upbeat melodies and energetic drops. And if that is not enough, wait for the second of these drops, which shoots us into a mix between hard and dubstep that culminates in a destructive climax of the latter genre.

R3HAB x Lukas Graham – Most People [CYB3RPVNK]

One of the tireless of the mainstream scene returns to the fray with a production that has caught our attention. The Dutch of Moroccan origin R3HAB has joined forces with the Danish Lukas Graham, a combo from which only something good could come. This “Most People” brings us a pop song with electronic overtones where the vocal competes for the leading role with a great melody.

GRiZ & Subtronics – Griztronics II (Another Level) [Cyclops Recordings]

Two years ago, seeing these two names together in the same release left us stunned. This week, GRiZ and Subtronics join forces again under the umbrella of Cyclops Recordings to bring us a second part of their “Griztronics”. With an intro based on breaks, in the drop we can clearly appreciate how the Subtronics sound has been shaped by the style of GRiZ, creating once again a perfect and explosive combination.
